I realize that getting cheap airfare is one thing, but getting the best deal possible is another.
Please answer if you can help me, because I’ve already heard from my share of naysayers who say just to give up my dream of going to Spain, I’ve wanted to go all my life and have my heart set on it.
If you can really help me I will be so, so very thankful.
I’ve always dreamt of going to Spain, and I have planned to go this spring, at the end of April, to study. I work full-time, I’m saving my money and I’ve arranged to get time off from work.
The problem of course is airfare. I’ve already begun searching for flights and researching deals (SoYouWanna.com is a good site, btw), but I would like to hear from anyone who can give me tips or advice on how to get the best deal possible.
If I am planning on going at the end of April, and the beginning of May, when is the best time to BUY the ticket?
Is it always possible to change dates?
Is it better to buy the ticket through a travel agent?
Any other tips, or advice?
Mil gracias
!!!!
I’m going to Miami from 5/24-5/28. I don’t have to worry about hotel(we have time share & it’s paid for) Nor do I have the worries of a rental that is also paid for. I won’t have kids or hubby with me; it’s strictly a girls get away. I’m not looking to do alot of tourist events; I really just want to have a good time, hit a few bars, maybe get a massage & party a lil. The timeshare condo has a full kitchen; I don’t care to cook while on vacation; but perhaps grab a few snacks, bagels, juice & things like that to prevent from buying too much stuff. I’m really savvy when it comes to spending…how much do you think I’ll need for spending?
I won’t be in Miami all day on the 28th; our flight leaves pretty early. So technically I won’t be doing anthing on the last day; but just prepping to return home.
I bought cupcakes at Sprinkles to share with my family. I’m flying home tom. and will have them in my carry on. I checked the TSA website to see if I could bring them and it said as follows: Note: You can bring pies and cakes through the security checkpoint, but please be advised that they are subject to additional screening.
What does this mean? I don’t have time for any b.s. at the airport. Has anyone brought cakes/pies with them through security? Thanks so much for your time!
what can you do there on a budget? ive heard that the local hotel workers will offer you things for free sometimes if you attend their “time share” presentation… i understand i dont have to buy one but how does it all work?
